A 79-year-old woman was found fatally stabbed in an apartment near the Innovation Center Metro Station near Herndon yesterday (Tuesday).

Officers responded to the 2300 block of Dulles Station Blvd around 10 a.m. after a caretaker “reported that she arrived at her patient’s residence and found her unresponsive,” the Fairfax County Police Department said in a news release today.
