A fruit tea spot named after a family matriarch is coming this month to Fairfax.

Yifang Fruit Tea, a family-owned business, plans to open a nearly 2,000-square-foot location at Fairfax Court (11282 James Swart Circle) within the next two weeks, business representative Dave Chen tells FFXnow.

Police Make Progress on Hannah Choi Murder Case — Fairfax County detectives believe they know the location of the man suspected of killing his ex-girlfriend and dumping her body in a Maryland park, according to Police Chief Kevin Davis. Circuit Court Officially Adds First Female Judge of Color — “Tania M.L. Saylor, the first woman of color to serve as a Fairfax County Circuity [sic] Court Judge will be presented her official commission on Friday, May 6, at 4 p.m. in Courtroom 5J of the Fairfax County Courthouse. Beyond/Hello plans to open new dispensaries in Fairfax (10521 Fairfax Blvd.) and Huntington (5902 Richmond Highway) that will provide medical-grade cannabis to local patients.

Security Public Storage is hoping to get the town’s blessing to demolish a warehouse at 331 Victory Drive to build a self-storage facility.

A new Korean restaurant is preparing to open at Brookfield Plaza in Springfield.

Under the trade name MCDD Springfield, the restaurant Makchang Dodook recently obtained a license for wine and beer in a mixed-beverage restaurant from the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority.

Mochinut has signed a lease at 1478 North Point Village Center, according to signage at the front of the property.
