If created, the work group would focus on maximizing the enjoyment of Reston’s four man-made lakes for its members.

Reston Association is seeking to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of board member Glenn Small.
In a late November statement to the Board of Directors, Small wrote that he would not be able to continue with the position after examining his personal and professional commitments.

At last week’s Transportation Committee meeting, the Board of Supervisors discussed a new “Charge Up Fairfax” program, where the county would provide support to homeowners’ associations (HOAs) and multi-family communities to install electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in common areas.

At a board meeting last night (Thursday), RA’s Board of Directors unanimously approved a motion to request more time to gather information and for the appeals process. The board met in closed session and approved the motion with no public discussion.

The lake’s fountain is currently not in operation after a mechanical issue was discovered, according to Reston Association.
