Reston Town Center welcomed a Brazilian steak house to its mix of tenants earlier this month.
Fogo de Chão opened on Friday (Dec. 2) at 11915 Democracy Drive. A portion of the first week of sales will go to Reston-based nonprofit organization Cornerstones, along with unused meals.
A public art piece inspired by the connectivity and energy of atoms has been erected in Reston Town Center’s Hyatt Park.
Called “Vidustria,” the installation is drawn from the word “vigor” and the Latin term “industria,” or energy. It’s the brainchild of students from South Lakes High School’s STEAM Public Art Program.

The Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chão is on track for a winter opening in Reston Town Center, according to a company spokesperson.
The steakhouse — which takes over space previously occupied by Big Bowl at 11915 Democracy Drive– has issued a hiring call for 130 positions.
