Taste of NoVA food festival expanding to two days this fall

For the first time, one of Northern Virginia’s most popular food festivals is expanding to two days.

The Taste of NoVA, returning for its third year, will be held both October 11 and 12 — Friday and Saturday — from noon to 4 p.m., according to event organizers.

Day 1 will focus on “Signature Sips and Bites,” with unlimited drinks from more than 40 different wineries, breweries and distillers and a sampling of bites. Day 2 will amp up the food, with unlimited tastings from more than 50 different restaurants.

Organized by Northern Virginia Magazine, the event will feature an expanded schedule of events in addition to the beloved bites offered up by dozens of different restaurants.

Live cooking demonstrations will be provided by two different chefs: Matt Hill of Ruthie’s All-Day — which is bringing its Southern comfort food to Fairfax Corner this year — and Bertrand Chemel of West Falls Church’s 2941 Restaurant.

Plus, a new “dynamic speaker series” will feature “intimate conversations with expert sommeliers, brewmasters, distillers, and mixologists.”

“This year, in addition to delicious food and drink tastings, we’re giving guests a behind-the-line experience,” magazine CEO Sang Yang said. “From live cooking demos to expert pours, Taste of NoVA 2025 will be interactive and unforgettable.”

For a second consecutive year, the National Museum of the U.S. Army (1775 Liberty Drive) at Fort Belvoir will play host to the event, which will feature dozens of eateries from across Northern Virginia — including The Inn at Little Washington, the D.C. area’s only three-star Michelin restaurant.

Patrons can purchase tickets for either day ($100 for Friday, $125 for Saturday) or a two-day pass ($165). Early entry and parking passes are available for an additional fee.

Additional ticketing information, as well as a full list of participants, is available on the event’s website.
