It won’t be long before a fast-expanding chain offering gourmet toast dishes opens up in Great Falls.

Toastique, which opened a location in Vienna just last month, expects to begin serving customers at 9891 Georgetown Pike sometime in the next few months.

“[The opening date] will be this winter, but will likely be confirmed after the first of the year,” a publicist told FFXnow.

Founded in 2018 by a former college athlete, Toastique places an emphasis on high-nutrient options with locally-sourced ingredients.

The brand’s offerings are led by a slate of eight gourmet toast options, like the avocado smash, smoked salmon and PB crunch.

Toastique’s menu also features smoothies and smoothie bowls, wellness shots, cold-pressed juices and much more.

“Our mission is to make the most important meal of the day ridiculously fresh, easy to get your hands on, and dare we say, a little fancy,” the brand’s website says.

The Great Falls location will be the brand’s second open storefront in Fairfax County, following the Vienna store. It will occupy the former storefront of Classic Wines, which shuttered in May 2024.

Great Falls franchise managers Sagar and Sonia Khurmi are a husband-and-wife team who want to bring healthier meals that rely on fresh ingredients to the local community, a press release says.

“We both aspire to live healthy lifestyles and believe that starts with the food you’re eating, which is something we want to bring to Great Falls through Toastique,” Khurmi said in the release. “We believe the community will resonate with the store’s mission and offerings, and are excited to get to know our neighbors and have them experience our menu.”

Toastique’s previously announced location in the expanded area of Reston Town Center is also expected to open sometime in 2026, according to the company’s website.
