A restaurant serving up Japanese and Korean specialties is one of the first dining additions to the new Reston Row.

Noku Sushi is now open at 1800 Reston Row Plaza, Suite 120 in the newly-developed section of Reston Station. An employee confirmed to FFXnow that the restaurant opened on Monday, Feb. 16.

Noku Sushi, owned by Chan Pak and managed by Daniel Jones, comes from the same owners as the Noku Sushi and Gogi 92 Korean BBQ restaurants at the Village at Leesburg shopping center.

The Reston restaurant specializes in Japanese and Korean cuisine served a la carte, including sushi, ramen, Korean BBQ and drink options like sake, but unlike at Gogi 92, the Korean BBQ is not served all-you-can-eat style.

“The two restaurants we have both focus on one cuisine, so we decided to combine both of them and make a Japanese and Korean fusion, which I must say [is] working pretty well so far,” Jones told FFXnow.

The new restaurant comes as Reston Row anticipates an influx of office workers in the coming years.

Property owner Comstock Companies announced last week that venture capital firm Razor’s Edge Ventures will relocate its headquarters to the neighborhood from Reston Town Center. In addition, Booz Allen Hamilton is planning to move its Tysons headquarters to Reston Row in fall 2027.

Also home to a JW Marriott Hotel and Residences and the 419-unit BLVD Haley apartment building, Reston Row will add Ebbitt House — a new restaurant from the team behind Clyde’s of Reston — in the coming months, expanding a retail roster that currently features Tous les Jours and Vida Fitness.

“I believe it’s a great location with everything that’s around it, like new businesses and apartments,” Jones said. “In time, I hope this community will grow and be a place where everyone can enjoy weekend events or just something new to try.”

Jones said the owner has not yet decided if there will be a grand opening. Hours for Noku Sushi are 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m. for lunch, 3-9 p.m. for dinner Sundays to Thursday and 3-9:30 p.m. Fridays to Saturdays.
