Hawkley Brewing opens today in Herndon’s former Juicy Brewing space

Herndon will welcome a new watering hole today, complete with its own selection of craft brews.

Hawkley Brewing will open at noon at 257 Sunset Park Drive in the Sunset Business Park — the former space of Juicy Brewing Company, which closed last year.

“Folks can expect delicious beer, a friendly and warm atmosphere and staff and a new neighborhood brewery to call their own,” owner Monte Hawkins told FFXnow.

As part of the opening festivities, Herndon Mayor Keven Leblanc will be on hand for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 3 p.m. Food trucks will also be available today and tomorrow (Saturday), along with “a few small giveaways.”

Hawkins, a former federal worker who opted for a career change last year, and an award-winning brewer have partnered to create a 10-beer menu offering a range of options.

Each of Hawkley’s options are brewed in house, leaving customers a variety of IPAs, lagers, sours and more.

“At Hawkley Brewing, we are passionate artisans committed to crafting exceptional beer,” the brewery’s website reads. “Our mission? To leave you in awe with every sip.”

Following the grand opening, Hawkley will be open six days a week. The brewery will be open from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, as well as noon-10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The brewery will also open at noon on Sundays, though it will close at 7 p.m.
