Broadway Gallery, an Alexandria purveyor of Fine Art, Art Installation and Framing, presents Harmony, a Textile Art Exhibition in collaboration with Sacred Threads, June 1 through August 31, 2022.
Artists selected for the show use the theme “Harmony” as a jumping off point for their pieces. In a time when our world feels chaotic, we look for Harmony in our lives. Curated by Lisa Ellis and Barbara Hollinger of Sacred Threads, submissions considered will use the construct of size as a unifier and follow the Studio Art Quilt Association definition of the medium of textiles: “a creative visual work that is layered and stitched or that references this form of stitched layered structure“.
Please join us the evening of Thursday, June 2 from 6-9 p.m. for food and drinks while we celebrate the opening of our textile exhibit, Harmony!
Use the code “Framing” for access.
