Reston Swim Team Association (RSTA) brings together ~900 swimmers from the greater Reston area. We have many RSTA swimmers not only from Reston but also Herndon, Great Falls, Oakton and Fairfax. These swimmers practice and compete on eight teams with up to 110 swimmers per team. During the course of a season from late May to the end of July, swimmers practice almost daily and compete in 6 dual meets, an Individual Medley meet, and a select All-Star meet.
Are you swim team curious? Do you have friends that are swim team curious? The RSTA New Wave program develops swimmers who are not quite ready for swim team but are interested in eventually joining one. We started this program in 2021 and are making it bigger and better in 2022! This is mainly for kids ages 6-12.
Registration opens in April. See www.rsta.org for more information.
Our Savior Lutheran Pre-K offers a wide variety of stimulating learning opportunities for children to grow socially, physically, and academically in a nurturing Christian environment.
Believing that four-year-olds learn best through play and exploration, activities are designed to inspire creativity, develop critical thinking skills, encourage social and emotional growth, and provide opportunities to practice fine and gross motor skills. Each week includes bible stories, music, art, and themed activities which enhance our learning and help us practice the many skills used in kindergarten. Our program includes the curriculum, “Learning Without Tears”, using an age-appropriate approach to writing numbers and letters. STEM activities encourage exploration with concepts in math and science.
