The Junior High years mark an important transition toward greater academic rigor, intellectual independence, and personal responsibility. Fiore’s Junior High serves students in grades 7–9 in an environment that fosters autonomy, agency, and meaningful engagement. Students are given the freedom and responsibility to become active participants in their own learning while working collaboratively and engaging with the larger community. Through these experiences, they develop the confidence, independence, and adaptability that prepare them for the opportunities and challenges ahead.
Located on more than 4.5 scenic acres just 20 miles outside Washington, D.C., Fiore's unique village-style campus offers exceptional opportunities for hands-on, experiential education. Our campus includes adolescent seminar-classroom area, science-math lab, a student lounge and locker area, a commercial kitchen, a fully equipped carpentry and maker space, an art room, a music loft, open fields, a basketball court, and a swimming pool. Adjacent farm and nursery properties further enrich opportunities for meaningful, real-world learning.
