A former Fairfax County Public schools contractor will serve prison time after admitting to committing multiple child sex crimes.

Arturo Elmore-Adon was sentenced Thursday (Aug. 29) to 31 years behind bars, though all but seven were suspended by Fairfax County Circuit Court Judge Michael F. Devine, according to online court records.

An Ashburn man who taught at a private school in the Herndon area has been arrested for child solicitation, among other charges, after allegedly interacting online with detectives he believed were minors.

According to the Fairfax County Police Department, David Mark Sabin, 38, contacted an undercover detective who was posing as a 14-year-old online in July.

A prominent real estate agent based in Tysons has been arrested after investigators learned about multiple allegations of him inappropriately touching children, Fairfax County police say.

Detectives began investigating Christopher Dudley, a 46-year-old man living in the Fairfax area, after Fairfax County Child Protective Services received a referral for a child who was reportedly “inappropriately touched by an adult male,” according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

A former teacher at White Oaks Elementary School in Burke will surrender her teaching license amid accusations that she physically assaulted students at the school.

Elizabeth Yoshimi Nagagata, who previously worked as a special education teacher at the school, entered an Alford plea on June 18 to two misdemeanor counts of assault & battery, allowing her to plead guilty while maintaining her innocence.

Victor “Xai” Souphom, 52, was arrested and charged May 29 with two counts of unlawful filming of a minor — felony charges that, together, carry a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.

A Herndon man is facing multiple criminal charges after allegedly grabbing and kissing a child.

The victim reported on Monday (May 12) at 8:40 a.m. that she had been walking in the 13300 block of Hungerford Place in the Hutchison neighborhood near Herndon when a man approached her, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
