A luxury pajama brand is expanding for the first time with the opening of a store in the Mosaic District.

BedHead PJs will open at 2910 District Avenue in the Merrifield neighborhood this Saturday (Aug. 22), with a custom monogramming station running from 1-3 p.m. to mark the opening.

It turns out that the replacement for Four Sisters at Mosaic District won’t be a restaurant after all.

Investment and financial advisory service Charles Schwab confirmed to FFXnow plans to open a new branch at 8190 Strawberry Lane, Suite 1 in Merrifield. That’s the former location of Vietnamese restaurant Four Sisters, which closed in May 2023 after 30 years.

The Merrifield restaurant announced last week that its founder, Tariq Alaeddin, has been developing the new concept “and toum” to introduce the D.C. region to the combination of broasted chicken and toum that was a staple of his childhood in Lebanon.

Fairfax County detectives have charged three teenagers with grand larceny after recovering more than $4,500 of allegedly stolen merchandise from a vehicle the trio was in, following reports of multiple thefts in Tysons.

According to the Fairfax County Police Department, detectives from the Tysons Urban Team responded to a report of a larceny at a store in the 1900 block of Chain Bridge Road in Tysons around 12:38 p.m. on June 3.

Fairfax County police are charging a man from Arlington County with burglarizing two different restaurants in the Tysons area more than half a year apart.

Back on Aug. 23, 2025, officers responded around 1:17 p.m. to a reported burglary at Pupatella Pizza (2980 District Avenue) in Merrifield’s Mosaic District, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.
