The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors has approved developer Comstock’s request to build an elevated pedestrian bridge connecting two of its new office buildings in the Reston Row portion of Reston Station.
The plan to build the secure passageway somewhere between the fourth and seventh floors of the buildings will meet the needs of a Fortune 500 company planning to lease space in the buildings, a representative of the developer told supervisors at the public hearing on Tuesday (Oct. 14).
JW Marriott and Comstock Companies announced the opening of the chain’s new Reston Station hotel yesterday.
The new project is a hotel and condominium high-rise building at 11350 Reston Station Blvd, with 247 hotel rooms and 94 residential units.
Comstock Companies is nearing some significant milestones at Reston Row, the second phase of its Reston Station development near the Wiehle Metro station.
The developer expects to officially deliver the 1.6-million-square-foot district in the second half of 2025, starting with an anticipated fall launch for the new JW Marriott Reston Station Hotel and Residences, according to reported results for the second quarter of 2025, which were released last Thursday (Aug. 7).
Update — Tous les Jours is now open at the Row at Reston Station after a soft launch at 10 a.m. today (Aug. 14). A grand opening celebration with promotions and giveaways is expected in September, property owner Comstock Companies says.

Reston Row will soon welcome two new restaurants: Noku Sushi, a Virginia-based fast casual sushi and ramen restaurant, and Tous les Jours, a bakery chain.
Both businesses will take up ground-level space at 1800 Reston Row Plaza, the first of two office towers under construction.
