Peppa Pig experience and more coming to Tysons Corner Center

A few months after saying goodbye to the world of “Encanto,” the toy store Camp will welcome Peppa Pig to its Tysons Corner Center location.

A celebration of the popular British children’s TV show, the new themed experience is set to make its debut in Tysons on July 25, staying for a limited time before moving to one of Camp’s eight other retail stores.

Inviting visitors to help Peppa plan a party for her new baby sister Evie, the 5,000-square-foot experience will open with a ride on Miss Rabbit’s Train, followed by a playground with slides and a racing track. Kids can also help Peppa’s younger brother George find a missing gift at Dinosaur Park, play in a treehouse, jump in “muddy puddles” and engage in crafts, among other activities.

“Peppa Pig is one of the most beloved characters in children’s entertainment, and we couldn’t be more excited to collaborate on this immersive adventure with the honor of introducing the newest arrival to the Pig Family, Baby Evie, to our community and fans,” Camp CEO Jenica Myszkowski said in a press release first reported by Northern Virginia Magazine.

Started in 2018 by former Buzzfeed marketing chief Ben Kaufman, Camp opened at Tysons Corner Center in December 2023. It sells a variety of toys, books and other kid-friendly gifts, including some that tie into the themed attraction currently set up behind its “magic door.”

While the Peppa Pig x Camp experience is in town, the store will offer Peppa-themed Lego building sets, kickballs, play sets, dolls and other merchandise from Hasbro, the company that has owned the TV show since 2019.

Tickets starting at $29 can now be purchased online or in person at Camp, which is located on the mall’s first floor near the recently reopened Barnes & Noble.

Outside of Camp, Tysons Corner Center is preparing for a number of retail changes in the coming months:

  • Kizik: Signage for the slip-on shoe company indicates that it will open on the second floor next to Sunglass Hut in “summer 2025.”
  • The Clay Bowl: A Vietnamese eatery coming to the third-floor food court this fall
  • Skims: Reality TV star Kim Kardashian’s lingerie line will open its second storefront, following a launch in Georgetown in June 2024. Located in the space temporarily filled by Shotted, it’s currently advertising a fall opening.
  • Vispring: The British bed company is opening what appears to be its first D.C.-area showroom on the mall’s first floor near Nordstrom this fall.
  • Cole Haan: The shoes, accessories and clothing store will open next to Coach this fall.
  • The Escape Game: An escape room venue that originated in Nashville, Tennessee, is expected to open next to Barnes & Noble this winter.
  • Ethnc: The Pakistani fashion brand is coming next door to Khaadi. Its signage says only that the store is “opening soon” with no time frame.
  • Edikted: The women’s clothing store is “coming soon” next to Cole Haan.
  • Studs: The ear-piercing studio will be on the second floor near Nordstrom.

Other previously reported new additions that are still pending include Chip City Cookies, Reformation, Bora Bora Smoothie and Level 99. Construction is underway on Maggiano’s, which is expected to relocate from Tysons Galleria to Tysons Corner Center’s east end in 2026.

In addition to adding new tenants, Tysons Corner Center is moving several stores to different locations within the mall, including Gap, Under Armor, Uniqlo, Altar’d State, Zara, L’Occitane, Garage and Rolex. Aside from Altar’d State, all of those retailers are still operating either in their existing storefront or a temporary one while work on their new spaces continues.
