Expanded Uniqlo, holiday events coming to Tysons Corner Center

With Halloween in the rearview mirror, Tysons Corner Center is racing right into the winter holiday shopping season, announcing a number of upcoming retail openings and festive events.

New retail

After operating out of a temporary location for the past few months, Japanese fashion giant Uniqlo will unveil its new, permanent store at the mall on Friday, Nov. 14.

Customers can expect daily giveaways and limited-time merchandise from the grand opening through Nov. 19, Tysons Corner Center said in a press release. Located in Suite N003U on the second floor across from H&M, the store will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., per its website.

To prepare for the opening, Uniqlo will close its temporary pop-up on the mall’s first floor near Macy’s this Saturday (Nov. 8).

A presence at Tysons Corner Center since 2016, Uniqlo signed a lease earlier this year for 18,000 square feet, expanding its existing 10,500-square-foot storefront, the Washington Business Journal reported in May. The larger space will include the company’s LifeWear clothing lineup for men, women, and kids, free guest WiFi, and hemming and alteration services for select pants.

Newcomers slated to arrive this month include Edikted, a women’s fashion brand coming to the second floor between Coach and Everlane. The grand opening at 11 a.m. on Nov. 16 will bring gifts for the first 100 customers, a “spin-to-win” game with prizes, sweet treats and other promotions.

“The store marks Edikted’s 10th U.S. location, bringing the brand’s signature mix of fashion and experience to life in a bold, immersive setting,” the press release says. “Shoppers can expect an iconic pink heart arch entrance, interactive photo booth, and social-ready design moments throughout the space, all built to capture and share.”

According to Tysons Corner Center, the British bed maker Vispring and Pakistani clothing brand Ethnc are also scheduled to open this winter, along with a new store for eyewear retailer Oakley, which is moving to the first floor near Wasabi. No specific opening dates were provided.

The openings come on the heels of gift basket seller Harry & David launching a holiday pop-up store last month. Also still in the works are an escape room venue called The Escape Game, the Vietnamese food stall Clay Bowl, Bora Bora Smoothie Cafe, the sportswear store Johnnie-O, Mavi Jeans, the mattress store Casper, Maggiano’s, and new locations for Zara, Under Armor and Shotted, among others.

Santa Claus will pull into Tysons Corner Center tomorrow (Friday), setting up his chalet on the mall’s lower level near Wasabi for an extended stay through Dec. 24.

In addition to taking photos, visitors will be able to write letters to Santa at a craft station. Those who book appointments in advance online will receive a free, personalized digital message.

Santa’s stay will include designated pet nights from 6-8 p.m. on Nov. 17 and 24 and Dec. 1 and 8 as well as a sensory-friendly hour from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Dec. 7.

As part of the holiday, the mall is also bringing back the Enchant Light Experience, a display of interactive light sculptures provided by George Mason University. This year’s display will include 14 sculptures, up from 11 last year, set up on the mall’s Plaza starting Nov. 10 through February 2026.

Tysons Corner Center’s annual holiday kick-off celebration will take place Nov. 14 from 6-8 p.m. on the mall’s recently rebranded PenFed Plaza.
