A 22-year-old man was arrested last week after allegedly assaulting a worker and police officers while attempting to rob a CVS Pharmacy store in Fairfax City.
Officers responded to the drug store at 10090 Fairfax Blvd at around 5:28 p.m. last Friday (May 2) for a report of a robbery in progress, according to the City of Fairfax Police Department.
The more things change in Tysons, the more they stay the same, it appears.
Food Corner Kabob House, located at 8315-B Leesburg Pike, closed last month after more than a dozen years in the Tysons Square shopping center. Signage has since appeared signaling a new tenant that will also be a kebab shop.

What I’m trying to build
All Team Exteriors isn’t a giant corporation. It’s not some out-of-state outfit with a call center. It’s me — and a small team of people committed to doing things the right way. We spent an extensive amount of time training under a perennial award-winning roofing company in Arizona this winter and learned what great looks like.
We’re bringing modern tools, photo-documented inspections, real-time updates, fast communication, and a “do what we say we’ll do” mentality. Not because it looks good in a brochure, but because that’s how I’d want someone to treat my own family.

Reston Golf Course Developers Propose Funds — “The owners of Reston National Golf Course have offered to pay the Reston Association $8.5 million as part of an alternate plan in case the county rejects its proposal to redevelop the golf course property.” The offer was made in a letter to RA’s Board of Directors and CEO Mac Cummins last Friday (May 2). Coffee Shop Opens Reston Expansion — “Reston’s new café, De Clieu Coffee & Sandwich, opened its doors to a steady stream of customers Tuesday morning.
