Family-owned coffee and wine bar coming to Twinbrooke Shopping Center

A family-owned cafe offering coffee and wine is coming to the Twinbrooke Shopping Center in Kings Park West later this year.

Trummer’s Coffee & Wine Bar, which is inspired by Austrian, Italian and other European-style coffeehouses, will open its doors in the shopping center this fall, a spokesperson for property owner Federal Realty announced last week.

The cafe will open at 9531 Braddock Road, where it will be nestled between the soon-to-be-closing Anytime Fitness and Regal Paint Center in the former TLC Cleaners space.

“Our goal has always been to create a welcoming place where people can gather — from morning coffee to evening cocktails — and we can’t wait to become part of the Twinbrooke community,” owner Victoria Trummer said.

Patrons can expect a menu led dozens of different coffee drinks, including signature options like the Kaiser Melange: egg yolk whipped with honey that is mixed with coffee and topped with whipped cream.

Trummer’s will also offer a variety of bites, including a range of breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Paninis lead the lunch and dinner menu, along with a slate of entrees that includes chicken wienerschnitzel, ricotta cavatelli al limone and potato leek strudel.

“As a family-owned business, we take great pride in baking from scratch and sharing recipes that have been part of our family for generations,” Trummer said.

“While guests may first think of coffee and pastries, our café is really a full scratch kitchen inspired by European cafés, serving everything from Austrian and European dishes to signature cocktails like our Titanic,” she added.

For the later crowd, Trummer’s will also feature dozens of different signature cocktails, including four variations of espresso martinis, plus 17 wines and a variety of European beers.

No operating hours have been publicly announced, but Trummer’s location in Gainesville is open from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. on weekends, and until 10 p.m. on weekends.

Trummer’s will be joined at Twinbrooke Shopping Center by the 24-hour gym Pump24, which anticipates opening late this summer in an over-9,000-square-foot storefront next to Kids United.

Federal Realty also announced last week that it has completed a renovation of the shopping center that refreshed the building facades and added new outdoor seating areas. Under construction since March 2025, the project updated Twinbrooke’s lighting and made landscaping and accessibility improvements.

“As part of the renovation, artistic murals featuring colorful daisy flower gardens were incorporated throughout the property,” Federal Realty said in a press release

The concept for the murals was inspired by Daisy, the dog belonging to Just Baked Bakery owner Mustafa “Max” Malek. A regular presence at the popular bakery, which has a central location in the shopping center at 9557 Braddock Road, Daisy now has her portrait painted on a nearby column.
