Workday will relocate its existing office in Tysons to Reston Town Center, where it has signed a lease for all of the eighth and ninth floors at 1818 Library Street, property owner and developer BXP announced last Thursday (Oct. 2).

The Journal reported on Friday (June 27) that the CIA — appropriately through a pseudonym but linked to the same exclusive ZIP code — has purchased the 434,000-square-foot Dulles Discovery 2 office building at 13870 Air and Space Museum Parkway.

The developer behind Tysons West is expanding its ambitions to the east side of Route 7 (Leesburg Pike).

As a whole, the office market in Tysons remains challenged, but declining demand for office space, a national trend in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, is hitting some properties harder than others.

Cherokee Federal announced Friday (Aug. 9) that it has opened an area office at 8180 Greensboro Drive, Suite 900, in Greensboro Park. The 20,000-square-foot space will host over 100 employees and complement the company’s regional office in Arlington.
