A Maryland man is facing multiple criminal charges for allegedly peeping into a Franconia resident’s home.
A woman contacted the Fairfax County Police Department on Aug. 7 at 10:25 p.m. to report seeing a man “peeping through her window,” according to a press release.
A driver died after their vehicle caught fire following a crash on the Capital Beltway (I-495) early Sunday morning (Aug. 15).
According to the Virginia State Police, a trooper responded at around 2:20 a.m. that day for a crash in the highway’s northbound lanes south of Braddock Road near Annandale.
Drivers and bus riders will see detours in effect today and tomorrow (Aug. 17-18) on Blenheim Blvd between Lion Run and Old Pickett Road in the City of Fairfax.
The closure to through traffic is expected to be in effect from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, according to city officials.
