A 25-year-old man has been arrested after police allege that he forced his way into two Fairfax County hotel rooms earlier this week.

Arlington resident Eric Isler was taken into custody yesterday (Tuesday), hours after the second of two incidents, the Fairfax County Police Department says.

A 22-year-old man was arrested last week after allegedly assaulting a worker and police officers while attempting to rob a CVS Pharmacy store in Fairfax City.

Officers responded to the drug store at 10090 Fairfax Blvd at around 5:28 p.m. last Friday (May 2) for a report of a robbery in progress, according to the City of Fairfax Police Department.

A Dumfries man will serve nearly 20 years in federal prison, primarily for his involvement in four different armed robberies in Fairfax County.

A Reston man has been arrested after allegedly stealing lottery tickets from several convenience stores around Fairfax County.

Detectives with the Fairfax County Police Department began investigating after officers were called to the 7-Eleven (2793 Chain Bridge Road) in Oakton for a report of a larceny and assault around 3:57 a.m. on Sept. 15, according to the police scanner.

Two men have been sentenced to prison in connection with a 2023 armed robbery of a check-cashing business in Chantilly.

Al Gibran Taylor, 42, of Reston and Antonio Chester Lewis, 39, of Oxon Hill were sentenced by a federal judge after pleading guilty to gun-related charges earlier this summer, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia said in a press release.

Police have made another arrest in connection to the theft of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from Chanel’s store in Tysons Galleria.

The Fairfax County Police Department previously identified three individuals as suspects in the June 25 robbery. One man was arrested in Pennsylvania on Aug. 7, but two others — a 27-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man, also from Pennsylvania — were still being located.
