Expect flurries and a slight chance of light snow in the morning, followed by mostly cloudy skies that will gradually clear up, with a high near 39 and southwest winds at 6-11 mph, gusting up to 21 mph. Wednesday night brings more flurries, a low around 25, and continued southwest winds at 6-11 mph, with a 20% chance of precipitation. Wendy’s to close longstanding Vienna restaurant today

Starting tomorrow (Tuesday), Vienna residents will have to travel a bit further to satisfy their Wendy’s cravings.

The fast food chain’s store in the neighborhood, located at 411 Maple Ave East, is closing after wrapping up service at midnight today (Monday), an employee confirmed to FFXnow.

    Sports, trading card shop opening in Herndon early next year

    A store selling increasingly-popular cardboard collectibles plans to open in Herndon early next year.

    Scheduled for a grand opening on Saturday, Jan. 3, Goatz Sports Cards replaced a former chiropractor’s office in the strip of businesses at 208 Elden Street.
