🌦️ Tuesday’s forecast

Expect likely showers and thunderstorms mainly before 11 a.m., then again after 2 p.m., with partly sunny skies and a high near 84°F. Winds will be from the south at 7 to 14 mph, gusting up to 20 mph, and there’s a 70% chance of rain, with new rainfall between half and three-quarters of an inch. Tuesday night, showers and thunderstorms are likely before 11 p.m., followed by isolated showers until 2 a.m. Conditions will be mostly cloudy, clearing gradually with a low around 68°F. Winds will shift from southwest to northwest after midnight at 6 to 8 mph, with a 60% chance of precipitation and new rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher in thunderstorms. Free arts festival returning to Tysons’ Capital One Center with workshops, food and more

For a second consecutive year, Capital One’s headquarters campus in Tysons will transform for a weekend into a showcase for the arts.

The Celebration of the Arts is set to return to Capital One Center (1820 Capital One Drive South) this fall, bringing workshops, entertainment, food, an artisan market and more.

Guapo’s Restaurant to launch new concept in Spectrum at Reston Town Center

Guapo’s is indeed coming to the Spectrum at Reston Town Center, as previously reported by The Burn.

However, the new location will not be a cocina and bar — the company’s full-service Tex-Mex restaurant — or a Guapo’s Go, the quick-service, charcoal chicken-focused taqueria found in Herndon, Manassas and Woodbridge.

    FCPS students team up with community theater to stage ‘Dear Evan Hansen’

    When the Broadway hit “Dear Evan Hansen” opens tonight (Friday) at South Lakes High School in Reston, it will represent more than the launch of a new show.

    For some students and recent graduates of Fairfax County Public Schools, the performance marks their debut in a true community theater setting, thanks to a new partnership with the Reston Community Players (RCP).

    Japanese department store plans second Va. spot in Seven Corners

    The Japanese department store Teso Life plans to open a new store in Seven Corners.

    Fairfax County planning documents show the retailer has applied to renovate the space at 6164 Arlington Blvd in a building formerly occupied by CVS inside the Willston 1 Centre.

    Vienna’s Clarity to open second restaurant in Reston tomorrow

    The award-winning Vienna restaurant Clarity will finally open its long-awaited second location at Reston Town Center tomorrow (Friday).

    The 4,500-square-foot restaurant at 1996 Opportunity Way in the town center’s expansion will have a grand opening at 11 a.m.

    JUST IN: Eataly officially confirms Tysons Corner Center store

    After months of speculation and silence, Eataly has finally confirmed that it’s coming to Tysons Corner Center.

    The New York-based Italian food and retail chain will open its first location in the D.C. region sometime in 2027, taking over the two-story space vacated in January by American Girl.
