Burke ranked as N. Va.’s most in-demand zip code for homeowners

Elevated prices didn’t stop new homeowners from flocking to Burke last year, drawn to its traditional suburban environment and proximity to amenities like shopping centers and parks.

The mostly residential community in the heart of Fairfax County at 22015 topped Northern Virginia Magazine’s recently released ranking of the Top 20 Hottest Zip Codes in Northern Virginia.

    Sushi, Korean BBQ restaurant opens at growing Reston Row development

    A restaurant serving up Japanese and Korean specialties is one of the first dining additions to the new Reston Row.

    Noku Sushi is now open at 1800 Reston Row Plaza, Suite 120 in the newly-developed section of Reston Station. An employee confirmed to FFXnow that the restaurant opened on Monday, Feb. 16.

There is a 90% chance of precipitation, and new amounts could be less than a tenth of an inch.     Mod Pizza to close in Greenbriar Town Center

    After eight years of operating in Fairfax, Mod Pizza will close its location in Greenbriar Town Center near Chantilly.

    “We sincerely thank our past and present Squad members for their dedication, as well as the Fairfax community for its loyal support over the years,” a spokesperson said in a statement to FFXnow.

    Log cabin-inspired bar and grill coming to Merrifield, Great Falls

    More than three years after the departure of Blackfinn Ameripub, a new restaurant appears to be filling the vacancy near the Dunn Loring Metro station.

    The Vienna Lodge Bar & Grill will soon occupy the space on the ground floor of the Avalon Dunn Loring apartments at 2750 Gallows Road, according to signage now adorning the windows of the storefront.

    Toastique butters up for spring opening at Reston Town Center

    Toastique’s expansion in Fairfax County will continue next month with an opening at Reston Town Center.

    The gourmet toast chain is planning to hold a grand opening for its new location at 11900 Inspiration Street on Saturday, March 7, offering $50 in reward dollars to the first 100 customers who make a purchase of at least $10.
