Breezy conditions are expected, as south winds of 8-13 mph will increase to 18-23 mph in the afternoon, with potential gusts up to 39 mph.     JUST IN: Reston Station CVS not closing after all

    CVS has backtracked on plans to shutter its pharmacy at Reston Station.

    The drug store chain told FFXnow today (Thursday) that it has decided not to close the store at 1906 Reston Metro Plaza, Suite 100, next month after reevaluating its “upcoming store closure plans.”

The day will be breezy, featuring a northwest wind of 14-21 mph and gusts up to 38 mph. Precipitation chances stand at 90%, but snow accumulation will be minimal, if any. Thursday night brings mostly clear skies and a low of 32°F. The northwest wind will slow down to 5-10 mph and become a light western breeze after midnight, with potential gusts up to 20 mph.     Opening dates set for Fava Pot, game show experience at The Boro in Tysons

    It won’t be long before both a Mediterranean restaurant and an immersive game show experience open their doors at The Boro in Tysons.

    Fava Pot and Game Show Battle Rooms will officially open to the public later this month, a spokesperson for The Boro announced.

    Expect showers and thunderstorms between 4pm and 5pm, partly sunny skies with a high near 81, and south winds at 6-11 mph, gusting up to 22 mph. There is a 50% chance of precipitation. For Wednesday night, showers are likely after 11pm with increasing clouds and a low around 49. South winds will range from 13-16 mph and may gust up to 26 mph.     Spring to arrive with Easter Bunny, cherry blossom events at Tysons Corner Center

    Spring fever is starting to appear at Tysons Corner Center, with the first day of the new season a little more than a week away.

    The mall is hosting several seasonal programs, including the Easter Bunny’s return and official National Cherry Blossom Festival events. The cherry blossom-themed events will coincide with D.C.’s National Cherry Blossom Festival, which runs between March 20 and April 12.

    UPDATED: CVS Pharmacy at Reston Station no longer permanently closing

    Update — CVS announced on Thursday, March 12 that it has decided not to close its store at Reston Station in April after all after reevaluating its upcoming plans. 

    Earlier: Commuters entering and exiting the Wiehle Metro station in Reston will soon no longer be greeted by CVS Pharmacy.
