There will be a north wind around 7 mph, with a 20% chance of precipitation. A reformer pilates studio is coming soon to the Village Center at Dulles south of Herndon.
Club Pilates is slated to open a 2,539-square-foot location in the plaza, which is anchored by Giant. It already has a location at Fox Mill Shopping Center in Herndon.
The annual Taste of Annandale street festival is set for this weekend, bringing food, entertainment and community fun to the area.
The festival kicks off Saturday, Sept. 21, from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Eileen Garnett Civic Space (7200 Columbia Pike).
A new spot for burgers, milkshakes and more in Chantilly expects to hold its grand opening event this weekend.
Festivities for Wayback Burgers, opening inside the Sully Plaza strip mall, will be held Saturday (Sept. 21).

The high temperature will be near 73°F with a northeast wind of 11 mph and gusts up to 21 mph. There is a 90% chance of precipitation, and new rainfall amounts could range from a quarter to half an inch. For Wednesday night, scattered showers and thunderstorms are predicted, along with mostly cloudy skies and a low around 63°F. A north wind of 8-10 mph is expected, with a 30% chance of precipitation. A nonprofit organization in downtown Herndon is celebrating 50 years of giving back to the community.
The Closet of the Greater Herndon Area, a faith-based nonprofit organization that distributes affordable home goods, clothing and other items, marked its 50th anniversary this month. The milestone will be formally celebrated at an invite-only event in late October.

A new occupant for Astro Doughnuts and Fried Chicken’s longtime spot in Idylwood Plaza has already been identified.
Quickway Hibachi, the fast-casual Japanese chain, will open a roughly 1,188-square-foot restaurant at 7511 Leesburg Pike, according to a site plan for the shopping center. Astro Doughnuts vacated the space in July after nearly nine years in business.
GAMEmason, a two-day gaming convention, is returning to George Mason University’s Fairfax campus this weekend.
After first popping up in late February, the convention will take over GMU for a second time this year in collaboration with the university’s computer design program, GMU Esports club, The Center for the Arts and Student Involvement.
