Expect clouds to increase in the sky, reaching a high temperature near 30°F, while northwest winds blow at 5-10 mph and possibly gust up to 20 mph. Later, on Friday night, snow is likely after 10pm, with the skies remaining cloudy and a low temperature around 25°F. Herndon yoga studio to launch permanent site at Arrowbrook Centre

A new yoga practice is heading to the Arrowbrook Centre in the McNair area south of Herndon.

Before launching its permanent studio, though, True North Power Yoga has started warming up with a nearby pop-up location that opened at 2545-Q16 Centreville Road in the Village Center at Dulles on Dec. 16.

Japanese grocery store aims for winter opening in Tysons

Update: Marufuji Japanese Market is set for a grand opening at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 25. Plans for the celebration are still being finalized, but expect plenty of giveaways, deals and demonstrations, Fuji Mart Corp. Vice President Joshua Nakama says.

Earlier: The coming weeks could see the launch of a new grocery store in Tysons.

J. Crew Factory store opening soon in Fair City Mall

The mystery tenant that began construction at Fair City Mall late last year has been unveiled.

Signage for J.Crew Factory has appeared on one storefront in the Fairfax City shopping center, located next to YamaChen’s Sushi House. The space was last occupied in 2018 by HobbyWorks.

Popular senior movie days return to Reston for 30th anniversary

One of Reston Association’s most popular programs is coming back later this month.

The Senior Movie Day program will kick off its 30th year on Jan. 22 with a screening of the Annette Bening-starring biopic “Nyad” at Look Dine-In Cinemas (11940 Market Street) in Reston Town Center.

JUST IN: Whole Foods sets target date for closing Idylwood store

Whole Foods Market has set a grand opening date for its new store in Falls Church, which means its 25-year stay in Idylwood is officially coming to an end.

The grocery store’s last day of business at 7511 Leesburg Pike in Idylwood Plaza is currently scheduled for Monday, Feb. 3. However, the timing could change “depending on the store’s in-stock levels,” a Whole Foods spokesperson told FFXnow.

Handmade Chinese dumpling eatery opens doors in Vienna

The new year brought a new kind of Chinese restaurant to the Town of Vienna.

Panda Dumpling quietly opened last Wednesday, Jan. 1 at 155B Maple Avenue West, taking over the former Bubble Mochi space in between the Cruz N Shine Car Wash and Marjan Carryout and Catering.
