During Tuesday night, there will be scattered showers and potential thunderstorms after 2 am. The sky will remain cloudy with a low around 64°F, and an east wind at 8 mph. Reston to welcome holidays with second annual Winterfest

Though fall hasn’t officially arrived yet, Reston is already dreaming of hot cocoa and snow in anticipation of the return of Winterfest.

Reston Association announced last Tuesday (Sept. 17) that the three-day festival will return on Dec. 5, 6 and 7 from 5-7 p.m. at Brown’s Chapel Park (1575 Browns Chapel Road).

Growing soup dumplings chain to replace gun shop in Chantilly

A growing chain that specializes in soup dumplings and Chongqing noodles is coming to Chantilly.

The next Yu Noodles outpost, helmed by local restaurateur Cody Zhou, will be opening in the former 50 West Armory space in the Sully Place shopping center.

Peter Chang’s Herndon restaurant to open next week

Herndon foodies will soon have a more convenient option for tasting chef Peter Chang’s creations.

Peter Chang Herndon is set to open on Saturday, Sept. 28 in Arrowbrook Centre, the mixed-use development near Innovation Center Metro station, the restaurant announced yesterday (Thursday).

Several local breweries will host events, while other festivities will encompass an entire neighborhood. Club Pilates to add another studio in the Herndon area

Club Pilates has leased a space in the Village Center at Dulles next to Chuck E. Cheese (via Google Maps)

A reformer pilates studio is coming soon to the Village Center at Dulles south of Herndon. 

Club Pilates is slated to open a 2,539-square-foot location in the plaza, which is anchored by Giant. It already has a location at Fox Mill Shopping Center in Herndon.
