The McLean Community Center’s annual McLean Day festival is returning later this month with food trucks, carnival rides, a petting zoo and more to celebrate the event’s 110th birthday.
The festival is scheduled for Saturday, May 17, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at Lewinsville Park (1659 Chain Bridge Road).
Visitors to Reston Art Gallery and Studios can now watch the artistic process play out in real time as part of a newly unveiled exhibit.
A collaborative effort involving nearly a dozen different artists, the exhibit “TEXTURE: Paper & Paint / Quilts & Collage / Metal & More” opened at the gallery in Lake Anne Plaza (11400 Washington Plaza West) this past Saturday (May 3).
