Expect showers after 1pm, with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 60. A calm south wind will reach 5-7 mph in the afternoon, and there’s a 60% chance of precipitation. New precipitation amounts will be less than a tenth of an inch. Tuesday night brings heavier rain, a low around 55, and 8-10 mph south wind. Sweetgreen seeks drive-thru use at potential McLean location

The closure of a bank in McLean’s Chesterbrook Shopping Center could be a gain for a national chain of salad restaurants.

Sweetgreen has asked Fairfax County’s Zoning Office to clarify how a potential restaurant could take advantage of a drive-thru lane previously installed during a property’s last life as a bank.

A new restaurant in Chantilly is working to make Korean food more approachable to curious foodies.

KoBo Korean Kitchen has seen a steady flow of customers since opening on Oct. 28, and it hasn’t just been the locals who are familiar with the cuisine, co-owner Chloe Jungae Lee told FFXnow.

Daytime cafe First Watch to add three more Fairfax locations

The new year promises to bring at least one sure bet: First Watch cafes will continue to spring up across Fairfax County.

After opening its largest restaurant yet in Fair Lakes this summer, the national chain is expanding to three more locations in the county, all of them expected in the first half of 2025.

New restaurant coming to Reston Town Center’s Marriott hotel

More details have been released about the restaurant that will occupy the lobby of Reston Town Center’s upcoming Marriott hotel.

Seven Restaurant will launch on the street level of Marriott’s AC Hotel and Residence Inn at 1975 Opportunity Way in January 2025, when the dual-branded hotel is expected to open its doors.

Fast-casual restaurant Z!Eats to open in Fairfax Circle next week

Fairfax Circle is playing a key role as a national restaurant chain unveils a new identity.

The second Z!Eats restaurant in the U.S. is scheduled to open at the Scout on the Circle Apartments in Fairfax City on Dec. 12, according to a spokesperson.
