Expect isolated showers both before noon and after 1pm, with mostly cloudy skies and a high temperature around 73°F. The south wind will shift to the northwest in the afternoon, ranging from 7 to 13 mph and possibly gusting up to 23 mph. Precipitation chances stand at 20%. Tysons Corner Center welcomes fall with festivals, new murals

The local weather may be cooling down, but Tysons Corner Center’s events calendar is heating up this month.

The mall will usher in a new season with its third annual Fall Festival, which will bring food, shopping, live entertainment and more to the Plaza from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14.

New Tysons eatery reimagines Korean BBQ for diners on the go

The latest restaurant to open in Tysons West aspires to serve up quality Korean barbecue with Chipotle-style convenience.

In a family of self-described foodies, CupsPops manager Brandon Seo and owner David Seo, his father, developed the concept as an answer to the question of what to eat when you crave Korean-style chicken or marinated beef but don’t have the time for the usual tabletop grill set-up.

Japanese restaurant Modan aims for fall opening in Tysons

Modan, a new Japanese restaurant coming to the Scotts Run neighborhood of Tysons, is getting closer to a launch.

The restaurant is on track to open on the ground floor of the Heming apartments at 1788 Chain Bridge Road this fall, according to a press release. While a opening day remains to be determined, the business shared more details about what customers can expect once that date arrives.

D.C. Shorts Film Festival to kick off at Merrifield studio this week

The D.C. Shorts International Film Festival is coming back to Merrifield.

The four-day festival will kick off its 21st year this Thursday (Sept. 5) with an afternoon of movie screenings and a welcome party at Crescendo Studios, a music school at 8101-A Route 29 that features a recording studio, a Black Box typically used for concerts and other event spaces.

Vienna Inn wins vote for Northern Virginia’s best breakfast spot

One of the longest-standing restaurants in Vienna has emerged triumphant from the 2024 NoVA Breakfast Wars.

Vienna Inn was declared the winner yesterday (Tuesday) of the bracket-style competition organized by Northern Virginia Magazine, which invited its readers to vote for their favorite place to grab a morning meal out of 32 selected contenders from around the region.
